Within the crate. Part of the pleasure is the limitation — the selection is curated for the night, and requests are answered from the records that made the trip.
Yes — the bag flies. For dates outside Phuket the crate is packed for the brief: balearic and downtempo for dinners, house and disco for dancefloors.
Two Technics turntables and a mixer — preferably rotary. Rudi can bring a full autonomous kit, or plug into the venue system if it is up to the records.
Comfortably all night. The sweet spot for a listening bar is three to five hours — long enough for the records to tell their story.
